I saw Liza Minelli yesterday. 

She's not someone I ever would have cared about seeing in person, but for some reason, it was very exciting.  She was getting out of a town car in the theater district when I rode by in a friend's car.  I was five feet from her face and, surprisingly, she looked fabulous, though she did not look like this:
